The BVRLA’s vehicle mileage database contains several million records for vehicles currently or previously owned by BVRLA members. Private buyers and motor traders can access this mileage information through partners such as Autotrader, Experian and HPI, enabling them to verify a vehicle’s mileage before purchasing.

Submitting both in-life and disposal mileage data offers a number of advantages for BVRLA members:

• Earn money back. Each time one of your vehicle records is checked, you receive a small payment. These earnings are accumulated and rebated to you annually, helping reduce membership costs or supporting additional services such as training or VE103 purchases.
