Service and maintenance costs, accident management, tyre technology and the changing demands on vehicle repairers will be among the topics discussed at the BVRLA Vehicle and Fleet Management (VFM) Forum on Thursday 19 November.

Hosted by Jaguar Land Rover in Leamington Spa and chaired by Vincent St Claire of Fleet Assist, the Forum will bring members together to examine current operational challenges and developments affecting vehicle and fleet management.

Nikos Kotrozos of Fleet Assist will provide an update on service and maintenance trends, including industry statistics, costs and market developments. The session will also explore battery repair and findings from Fleet Assist's recently published white paper on the potential role of artificial intelligence (AI) in service, maintenance and repair (SMR).

Accident management will be covered by Amanda Cunningham of FMG, who will examine the latest trends, the outlook for the sector and potential disruptors. Keith Tabram of Kwik Fit will provide an update on tyre market conditions, emerging brands and developments in tyre technology.

Jenny Patten of Bosch will explore how changes in vehicle parts, materials and technology are affecting the repair sector. Her session will also consider the implications of Euro 7, the changing training requirements for technicians working on battery electric vehicles (BEVs), and efforts to address the industry's technical skills shortage.

The Forum provides an opportunity for members to hear from industry specialists, discuss common challenges and share experiences with colleagues from across the sector.

Both existing VFM Forum subscribers and members wishing to attend the November Forum can find out more information and register through the event page.
