The Vehicle and Fleet Management (VFM) Forum took place at Autoglass in Egham last week, with a theme of ‘Technology and its role in 2026’ underpinning all sessions and shaping discussions.

BVRLA Vehicle and Fleet Management (VFM) Forum at Autoglass premises in Egham, technology is demonstrated

Chaired by Vincent St Claire of Fleet Assist, the agenda included a presentation from the hosts on glass and ADAS future trends with Abba Bako, an overview of predictive telematics with Richard Parker of Webfleet, and a session on technology in the SMR world and general trends with Nikos Kotrozos of Fleet Assist.

There was a session with Ryan Naughton of The AA on how drivers impact breakdowns by ignoring warning lights, and how better data can help. A presentation from Itay Erel of UVeye concluded the half-day event, exploring technology that can identify issues with tyres, underbody and exterior.

After lunch there was an opportunity to watch live demonstrations of some of the latest technological advances covered by the speakers.

The BVRLA would like to thank hosts Autoglass, Forum partners, speakers and delegates.
