AI, customer relationships and compliance will be among the issues on the agenda this week, as the sold-out BVRLA Leasing Broker Conference brings the broker community together on Thursday in Coventry.
Will AI Recommend You? Winning the New Search Journey will examine how the way customers find their next vehicle is changing. Michelle Jones, Chris Girling and Sarah Potter from Ketchup Marketing will explore how greater use of AI to research and compare options could affect broker visibility, and what businesses can do to ensure they continue to be found and considered.
Customer relationships will also be in focus. Beyond the Deal: Relationships, Brand and Long-Term Customer Value will see Broker News's Ralph Morton and Laura Lerwill joined by Donna Kelly of Nationwide Vehicle Contracts and Gareth Roberts of LeaseCar to discuss how maintenance, customer experience and brand can help strengthen relationships beyond the initial transaction.
Keeping Customers Happy: From Handover to Handback will look at some of the friction points that can emerge during the leasing journey, including vehicle handover, fair wear and tear and end-of-contract charges. The panel will consider how clearer expectations and better support when things go wrong can help remove surprises and build trust, including among customers coming into leasing through secondary leasing.
Compliance Unpacked: Your Challenges, Answered will put the issues brokers themselves have identified directly to an expert panel, with the discussion centred on practical guidance, best practice and resources that can support businesses.
Elsewhere on the agenda, delegates will hear discussions on broker representation, industry data and the changing vehicle market, while Jurni Leasing's Nickie Brooks will share experiences from her career in leasing. Former professional footballer Tony Cascarino will close the conference.
Delegates are advised to download the BVRLA Events app ahead of Thursday, via the Apple Store and Google Play.
The 2026 Leasing Broker Conference is now sold out, see information on the Industry Outlook Conference in December and Annual Dinner in February 2027.
