As announced in Budget 2025, the government has introduced a temporary easement to mitigate the increasing benefit-in-kind (BiK) tax liabilities of Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV) company cars due to new emission standards.
It has now been confirmed the new emission standard will not become mandatory in Great Britain from 1 April.
Members need to make sure they are communicating the correct treatments to their customers.
