The BVRLA Industry Hero Awards are back, with three new categories celebrating the people who make a difference across all corners of membership.
Nominations are now open for the awards, which recognise the unsung heroes working across BVRLA members. Whether they go above and beyond for customers, support their colleagues or find new ways to improve their business, the awards celebrate individuals whose contributions deserve wider industry recognition.
For 2027, three new categories have been introduced, replacing the three categories awarded in 2026:
- Rental Hero – recognising an outstanding individual working in or supporting the vehicle rental sector.
- Leasing Hero – celebrating someone making a difference in the leasing or leasing broker sector.
- Customer Hero – open to all member businesses, recognising exceptional contributions to customer service, building relationships, ensuring compliance or raising industry standards.
In each category, nominations are accepted for an individual or small team.
The awards are designed to shine a light on people outside of senior leadership positions that make a significant contribution to their colleagues, customers or the wider sector.
Nominating someone is straightforward, with a short online form asking why they deserve recognition. No lengthy award submission or supporting materials are required.
Nominations are open now until 18:00 Friday 8 January 2027. Finalists will be announced later that month with the three winners being revealed as part of the BVRLA’s Annual Dinner on Wednesday 24 February 2027.
