Transport Minister, Keir Mather will be speaking at the BVRLA’s upcoming Van Plan Reception in the House of Commons, marking the two-year anniversary of the Zero Emission Van Plan.

The event, on Wednesday 4 February (evening), will be a celebration of all the Van Plan has achieved to date, including the extension of the plug-in van grant, infrastructure support through the depot charging scheme and regulatory change for 4.25t vans - bringing them in line with their diesel equivalents.

It also presents an opportunity to discuss remaining transition barriers, especially around infrastructure. Interested Commercial Vehicle members can reserve a spot.

This week is also the last chance for members to reserve a place on the Industry and Parliament Trust’s parliamentary training course on Monday 26 January. The course runs from 08:30 to 15:00 in the Houses of Parliament. Delegates will learn how Parliament functions and how to engage with MPs and Peers to voice the needs of the industry. They will also be given a tour of the Houses of Parliament.

Spaces are limited; members should email [email protected] to indicate their interest.
