Ahead of the Budget on 28 October, the BVRLA is calling on members to support its campaign for vehicle taxation policies that encourage EV demand and fleet investment.
Members can now review the five priorities being set out by the association, for Chancellor John Healey to consider in the upcoming Budget. The priorities will be communicated more widely in due course.
While the BVRLA is finalising a formal submission on behalf of the sector, based on input spanning committees, working groups and direct member engagement, members are invited to help reinforce these messages in three ways:
- Write to your MP: use the pre-filled letter available for businesses and drivers
- Make a Budget submission: use the BVRLA template to support a submission to HM Treasury (by 23:59 on Wednesday 9 September)
- Engage customers and drivers: share the campaign and encourage company vehicle drivers to write to their MP.
The BVRLA has brought the actions together on its Budget Asks and Actions member page, alongside further information and resources to help members make the case to Government.
