From 2 January 2026, the daily Congestion Charge in London will increase to £18.00 (if paid on the day) or £21.00 (if paid within three days).
The previous 100% Cleaner Vehicle Discount has ended. Transport for London has introduced a new tiered system of discounts. The discounts are only available for electric vehicles registered for Auto Pay.
New discount details:
- 25% discount on the daily charge for electric cars registered on Auto Pay
- 50% discount on the daily charge for electric vans, HGVs, and quadricycles registered on Auto Pay.
