BVRLA members have a final opportunity to register for an online workshop with HM Treasury and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), taking place on Thursday 5 November at 3pm.

The session will focus on the practical implications of electric Vehicle Excise Duty (eVED), currently scheduled for introduction in April 2028. Members will be able to raise operational questions, discuss potential challenges and provide feedback directly to those involved in developing the new system.

The BVRLA continues to raise concerns about the timing and impact of eVED, particularly for businesses managing large vehicle fleets. Member feedback will help inform the association's ongoing engagement with Government on how the proposed tax will be administered.

Members are also encouraged to complete the DVLA's eVED survey by Friday 20 November. The survey seeks detailed feedback on the proposed Fleet Management Service, including mileage reporting, de-fleeting and payment processes.
