The evolving outlook for the automotive market will be explored in a key session at the BVRLA’s Fleets in Charge Conference, taking place on Wednesday 1 July in London.
‘The Second Half of the Decade: Ambition Under Pressure’ will examine how demand for zero-emission vehicles is developing, the state of charging infrastructure, and how the wider ecosystem is expected to evolve. The session will also consider what manufacturers are looking for from the leasing and rental sector as the transition continues.
The session will feature:
- Mike Hawes, CEO, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT))
- Lisa Brankin, managing director, Ford of Britain and Ireland
- Eurig Druce, group managing director, Stellantis UK
Together, they will provide a range of perspectives and share how OEMs are approaching the transition.
The Conference programme will open with a BVRLA ‘state of the nation’ address and will include insights from the Road to Zero Report Card, alongside discussions on policy developments such as the future of the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Mandate, motoring taxation and battery health in the used vehicle market.
Early Bird tickets are currently available to members at a reduced rate of £199 + VAT per person, offering a £100 saving on the standard price. Availability is limited, and tickets will revert to the full rate once the allocation has been sold.
The event will provide opportunities for networking and discussion throughout the day, supported by event partners Allstar, Autotrader, AVILOO, The AA, Fleet Assist and Nexus Vehicle Management, with exhibitors including Jaama, Targa Telematics and Volteras.
Members are encouraged to book early to secure the discounted rate. Further information and booking details are available via the Conference website.
