Employment Rights Act webinar to address key employer questions

The impact of the Employment Rights Act 2025 on UK employers will be the focus of an upcoming webinar delivered by WorkNest, providing BVRLA members with the opportunity to explore the practical implications of recent and forthcoming changes.

The legislation introduces a range of measures affecting how businesses manage their workforce, including six-month unfair dismissal protection, day one paternity and parental leave, Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) reforms, and new obligations relating to flexible working and sexual harassment. While some changes are already in force, others are still being interpreted by employers as they assess the readiness of their policies, procedures, and management teams.

WorkNest’s Employment Law and HR specialists will lead a live, interactive session on 16 April at 2pm, addressing member questions in real time and offering guidance on how organisations can respond effectively to the evolving regulatory landscape.

Members wishing to attend the webinar can register online: Employment Rights Act 2025 | Your Questions Answered.

As part of BVRLA membership, members also have access to the WorkNest Portal, which provides a range of downloadable resources covering Employment Law, HR, and Health and Safety. This includes guidance, templates, policies, and precedents designed to support day-to-day compliance and decision-making.

To access the portal, member contacts first need to register for an account with WorkNest. Once set up, the full range of guidance and materials will be available.
