Drug driving is an increasing road safety concern, putting greater focus on how businesses manage the risks associated with employees driving for work.
Figures highlighted by Fleet News show a 70% increase between 2014 and 2023 in driver fatalities where drugs were present. The Government's Road Safety Strategy is also looking at changes to drug-driving enforcement, including alternative testing methods and a review of penalties.
