EVA England is inviting drivers across the UK to share their views and experiences of EVs as part of its annual national driver survey.
The survey is open to all drivers, whether they use an electric, hybrid, petrol or diesel vehicle, and aims to build a picture of current attitudes towards EVs and the factors influencing whether motorists make the switch.
Questions cover areas including affordability, charging, taxation and barriers to EV adoption, as well as how drivers bought or acquired their vehicle. The survey also explores the experiences of existing EV drivers and those considering making the transition.
Last year's research highlighted both positive experiences and continuing barriers. While 69% of EV drivers felt the public charging network had improved, almost half of all drivers surveyed reported difficulties with accessibility when using public charging. This year's findings will again be shared with policymakers and industry stakeholders to help inform future transport policy and EVA England's campaigning activity.
The survey takes around five minutes to complete and is open until 16 September. BVRLA members are encouraged to share it with their customers and drivers to help ensure their experiences are represented.
