The next BVRLA Compliance Forum takes place on Tuesday 16 June at 60 London Wall, London EC2M 5SH, with registration from 10am and the agenda commencing at 10.30am. The event will conclude with a networking lunch from 1.30pm.
The forum will bring together compliance professionals and industry experts to discuss some of the latest regulatory and operational developments affecting the sector. Sessions will include Andrew Jacob on the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) multi-firm review of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and ongoing due diligence controls, alongside Luis Hernandez examining what effective Consumer Duty Board Reports look like in 2026.
Members will also hear from Martin Wilson of Privacy4Cars, who will explore how privacy and data protection considerations apply within complex operational and distribution environments, while Jason Wassell of the Consumer Credit Trade Association will discuss lessons that can be learned from the principles behind the regulator taskforce investigating claims management practices.
