The BVRLA Leasing Broker Conference will tackle some of the biggest issues facing brokers, with sessions exploring the changing vehicle market, customer experience, AI, industry data and compliance.

Taking place on Thursday 8 October at AMTC, Coventry, the conference will bring together leasing brokers, funders and industry specialists to explore the trends and issues shaping broker-led mobility.

Among the confirmed speakers, Auto Trader's Marc Palmer will examine how greater choice, new brands and technology are changing the way consumers buy and lease vehicles. Thomas McLennan, BVRLA Director of Policy and Public Affairs, will be joined by Richard Chadwick of Alphabet to explore what the latest Leasing Broker Outlook data says about the sector and why member participation helps build a stronger evidence base for the broker market.

The afternoon will look to the changing digital landscape, with Michelle Jones, CEO of Ketchup Marketing, asking ‘Will AI Recommend You?’ The session will explore how AI is influencing the way customers research and compare their next vehicle, and what brokers can do to remain visible and relevant as search behaviour changes.

There will be an interview with Nickie Brooks of Jurni Leasing about failure and what happens when things go wrong, before former professional footballer and Republic of Ireland international Tony Cascarino brings the conference to a close with his keynote.

Further sessions across the day will explore customer experience from handover to hand back, compliance and the role of the Leasing Broker Committee, with more speakers and panellists to be announced.

BVRLA leasing and leasing broker members can attend for £50 + VAT.

The BVRLA would like to thank its partners Fleet Procure, Modulynx, QV Systems, Tracker, WorkNest, and exhibitors ClearWatt, INEOS, Motorcomplete, RateSync and media partner Broker News.
