Improving confidence in the used electric vehicle market will be a key focus at this year’s Fleets in Charge conference, as industry experts come together to examine the growing importance of battery health.
The Conference session comes as Autotrader’s latest Retail Price Index points to continued momentum in the used EV market, with demand remaining strong as affordability improves. As more drivers enter the used EV market, attention is turning to battery condition, long-term performance and the information available to support purchasing decisions.
The session, “Is battery health something we should be worried about?”, will explore whether concerns around degradation are justified and what real-world data shows about battery performance over time. It will also consider whether developments such as the proposed introduction of GTR22 and battery health monitoring requirements could help strengthen buyer reassurance.
Chaired by Alexander Millinger (AVILOO), the panel will feature Laura Harvey (Autotrader), Dan Lancaster (Geotab) and Vincent St Claire (Fleet Assist), who will discuss battery diagnostics, data transparency and the role these play in supporting residual values and wider market confidence.
The event will provide opportunities for networking and discussion throughout the day, supported by event partners Allstar, Autotrader, AVILOO, The AA, Fleet Assist and Nexus Vehicle Management, with exhibitors Jaama, Targa Telematics, The Charge Scheme and Volteras.
Further information and booking details are available via the Conference website.
