VFM Forum kicks off at the home of Leicester Tigers

The BVRLA’s first Forum of the year was hosted by Europcar last Thursday (6 February), with over 50 members attending the Vehicle and Fleet Management (VFM) at Mattioli Woods Welford Road stadium.

Delegates heard insights on:

  • Tyres – Continental Tyres gave delegates plenty to think about in terms of the environmental impact of tyres, what EURO 7 will mean and changes regarding labelling/data now available on tyres.
  • Maintenance - i247 and Fleet Assist, the VFM Forum partners, gave a detailed overview of trends in the maintenance arena including use of mobile servicing, franchised vs independent, BEV vs ICE average invoice values and more.
  • Policy – the BVRLA’s Public Affairs Manager Rachael Hewish rounded off the morning with a policy overview, highlighting to delegates what to expect in 2025 from a legislative perspective.

Planning has now begun for the July Forum. Members with ideas or suggestions of speakers and/or topics should email [email protected].

The Residual Value and Remarketing (RVR) Forum is taking place on Thursday this week (13 February) at BCA Perry Barr, register on this link: BVRLA Residual Value & Remarketing Forum - FEBRUARY 2025.
