Transport strategy for South East being developed

Boosting connectivity and providing seamless door-to-door transport are two key missions outlined by the Transport Strategy for South East England. The draft plan is now open to feedback ahead of the final strategy being published later in 2025.

It has been five years since Transport for the South East (TfSE) published its first transport strategy. The latest iteration showcases how much the transport sector has evolved in those five years, and is open to industry input to ensure it represents all users and stakeholders.

As part of the BVRLA’s engagement with TfSE, the association will be sharing the Rental Credentials report for consideration as part of the strategy and to help inform user hierarchy.

Members based in the South East of England, or with operations in the region, are invited to share their views via the online survey before 7 March. Alternatively, please contact the association’s Head of Decarbonisation and Future Mobility, Catherine Bowen, to discuss further.
