David Smith, Economics Editor at The Sunday Times, has been confirmed once again as a keynote speaker for the BVRLA’s Industry Outlook Conference in early December.
David will give a status update and forecast for the UK’s key economic indicators as we go into 2024. He will look at what is going on with inflation, employment, interest rates, business and consumer confidence, tax burden, government borrowing and deficit, making global comparisons for added context.
This year’s event will take place on Wednesday 6 December at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire. It is aimed at all BVRLA members, operating every type of vehicle and business model.
The 2023 Industry Outlook Conference will also feature a look at the Industry Outlook Survey Results with a panel of industry leaders, while also offering break-out sessions on short-term rental and a ZEV Mandate Masterclass. In addition, the new Fleet and Mobility Surgery sessions will bring some of the industry’s most experienced and innovative minds together to discuss how they are ‘Keeping Vehicles on the Road’ and ‘Keeping Customers Happy’.
SME members benefit from a fixed special rate of £149+VAT per person (email [email protected] to check eligibility).
The 2023 event is being supported by Coastr, Kwik Fit and United Rental Group. If you are interested in exhibiting, sponsoring, or participating, email [email protected].
