RVR Forum: Used Market Trends and Expectations

Over 70 delegates gathered last week to discuss key trends in the used vehicle market and expectations for 2025, at the BVRLA’s Residual Value and Remarketing (RVR) Forum at BCA’s Perry Barr auction site.

Delegates gained valuable insights from Owen Edwards of Grant Thornton, who provided an economic overview. Chris Plumb of cap hpi followed with a detailed analysis of used car value movements last year and how these trends are shaping the 2025 outlook.

A panel of experienced used car and van buyers shared their perspectives on market expectations for 2025, current buying trends and the evolving role of electric vehicles.

The next RVR Forum will take place on Thursday 19 June at GWM-ORA in Solihull. There, members will hear further insights into the evolving used vehicle market. Members can opt for a yearly forum  subscription or for each Forum attended.
