The RAC Foundation has published a report on car use trends which suggests most UK cars and vans are only driven for one hour a day on average leaving plenty of time for EV charging.
The 77-page Standing Still report shows that in 2018–19, on average personal cars and light vans in England spent 73% of the time parked at home, 23% of the time parked elsewhere, and 4% of the time driving.
