There have recently been reports of the file transfer application, MOVEit, becoming vulnerable to cyber attacks that could have led to personal data being exposed.
Members that may use MOVEit, which is commonly used for sharing encrypted files, are encouraged to ensure they understand the nature of this vulnerability and assess the potential risk or impact on them.
The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is working with affected businesses to understand and respond to this incident.
