As the BVRLA continues to develop its e-Learning Platform and e-Learning packages, a refreshment of the Managers and Compliance Package will go live shortly to help managers better understand the regulatory framework in which they are working.
It is presented as a set of 12 modules containing a Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS) module for those who conduct business falling under the application of CASS. It also incorporates a set of three Senior Managers and Certification Regime modules, to help firms that need it change from the Approved Persons Regime, as well as including a new e-Learning module on Consumer Duty.
The package is suitable for managers who want an introduction or refresher on UK Financial Regulations and the conduct of business standards and SM&CR. Colleagues will also receive an overview of thematic topics such as conduct risk and treating customers fairly.
These modules will ensure that employees are aware of their compliance responsibilities. The knowledge gained will help mitigate the risk of compliance breaches and remove legal liability from the organisation in the event of wrongdoing.
