New e-learning modules for 2025

Developed in conjunction with a consortium of Principal Funders, the BVRLA’s 'Essentials' e-learning package provides an easy way to evidence compliance with the Financial Conduct Authority’s training and competence regime and the BVRLA Code of Conduct.

The modules are regularly reviewed and tailored to the vehicle leasing sector so that the BVRLA can support members' regulated duties.

In line with commitments to its membership, the BVRLA continuously updates its training materials. The association will shortly launch 12 brand new e-learning modules into the SAF-approved upgrade package, providing overviews of the key lending practices and responsibilities pre and post contract.

Eight new iExpress modules will be added into the 'Essentials' package on 2 January 2025 to save members time when completing their second-year compliance training. The iExpress modules appear in the second year of members’ licences and are short refreshers on the full versions of the modules - saving learners time when demonstrating competence on key regulated topics.

Members who need to maintain their compliance with the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA)’s Lending Code must undertake courses through approved suppliers that meet SAF standards. The BVRLA has SAF Expert Equivalence Status for its e-learning modules so can support members in meeting those requirements. The Code states that all customer-facing staff selling and advising on consumer vehicle finance must be competent and evidence this competence annually.
