BVRLA members interested in the status of HGV testing in the UK can now exchange views with the DVSA’s Head of MOT Policy, Neil Barlow, via his new ‘Moving On’ blog.
In his first post, Barlow reflects on the recommendations from the DVSA’s recent Heavy Vehicle Testing Review, which considered whether the current roadworthiness testing process was fit for purpose and how it could be improved.
He confirms that the DVSA has now ended its pause on taking applications for new Authorised Testing Facilities (ATFs) and has launched a new ‘Find an ATF’ service for operators seeking test bookings at short notice.
