Professor David Bailey will give a high-level academic view on the motor industry over the next 12 months, including his thoughts on what could disrupt the market, at the upcoming digital Residual Value and Remarketing (RVR) Forum on the 10 February.
Professor of Business Economics at Birmingham Business School, Bailey has recently co-edited a book on the automotive industry after EU exit and will share his thoughts in a session at the upcoming RVR Forum. Also on the agenda will be the BVRLA’s policy team giving a horizon scan of the likely short- and long-term legislative changes which could impact the market.
Geoff Grindle, Head of Asset Pricing and Valuations at Arval, is taking over as Chair of the RVR Forums and it is intended that Forums later in the year will be held in person rather than online, potential Covid restrictions permitting.
During 2022 there will be three RVR Forums including the virtual session on 10 February, and members can send up to two delegates to each event with an annual subscription of £500+VAT.
There will also be a Technical and Operational Management (TOM) Forum next week on 3 February, one of three TOM Forums throughout the year, with an annual subscription as described above for the RVR Forum.
