Members have just one week left to ensure their stand-out colleagues and unsung heroes get the industry recognition their efforts deserve. Presented as part of the association’s flagship Annual Dinner, two individuals and one team will pick up the awards in front of hundreds of colleagues and industry peers.
Sponsored by Close Brothers Leasing, the Industry Hero awards are for the stand-out performers from all corners of BVRLA membership. Winners are colleagues who made a significant contribution and went 'the extra mile’ in their role in 2024.
The deadline for submissions has been extended until 17:00 on Tuesday 14 January 2025. The short form requires an outline of why the nominee deserves to win, encouraging supporting facts, figures and testimonials where possible.
One winner will be named for each award:

Business Builder (Individual award)
Nominees will be those to have shown exceptional agility to deliver against business objectives or innovate to introduce new products, services or solutions. -
Decarbonisation Driver (Individual award)
Nominees will be true advocates for the industry's transition to cleaner, greener solutions. -
Service Specialists (TEAM award)
For teams that demonstrate an outstanding ability to consistently deliver exemplary service in a compliant, outcomes-based manner.
Submit nominations via the simple online form by 17:00 on Tuesday 14 January 2025. Shortlisted nominees will be notified in advance, with the winners announced on stage on 5 March.
