Have your say on FCA consultation

The BVRLA’s Regulation and Compliance Working Group will be meeting online on Wednesday 2 October and it is still possible for members to attend.

This meeting will focus on shaping a consultation response to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)'s:

Call for Input: Review of FCA requirements following the introduction of the Consumer Duty

The FCA has published a call for input, asking for views on how far it may be appropriate and beneficial to place greater reliance on the Consumer Duty in place of specific rules and guidance.

Consumer Credit Regulatory Returns: Credit Broking, Debt Adjusting, Debt Counselling and Providing Credit Information Services

The FCA are consulting on its new design of their return requirements, which aims to tailor the questions set so that they are more readily aligned to firms’ business model and activities. The return also aims to include industry terminology which helps firms report accurate data.
