The BVRLA would like to invite members to attend a joint ESG and Tax Working Group meeting, taking place over Teams, on Thursday 20 June from 2pm to 4.30pm.
The association is combining the two groups as an expert from PwC will be presenting on the relationship between ESG and Tax.
The agenda will also include a workshop-style discussion on Scope 3 emissions and what falls in scope for leasing and rental.
Following the BVRLA’s inaugural ESG Working Group at the end of February, the group concluded that going forward, the BVRLA’s ESG activities should be targeted at providing practical support with implementation issues and arguing for proportionate and workable rules and regulations.
Members interested in getting involved in either the implementation or policy aspects of ESG – and not already part of the Working Group – should contact [email protected] to discuss further.
