The BVRLA has submitted a response to the Government’s call for evidence on the Rural Strategy.
This consultation formed part of the Future of Transport programme, which aims to shape transport innovation and secure the UK’s position as a leader in the transport sector of the future. It follows the Future of Mobility: urban strategy published in March 2019.
In the response, the BVRLA highlights areas that would be most beneficial to rural communities, focusing on the value of further investment in rural Mobility as a Service (MaaS) trials and asking Government to address the issue of Grey Fleet.
