Vehicle Excise Duty and company car tax on double cab pick-up trucks are seeing changes from April 2025. Beyond this, the approach to emissions testing of hybrid vehicles is set to be updated, potentially resulting in revised official CO2 values.
In a 45-minute free webinar later this month, BVRLA members will hear the latest details relating to these shifts, as well as how best to manage fleet additions and customer expectations as a result. The BVRLA's tax and regulation experts will explain the impacts of:
- High VED increases for hybrid and ICE vehicles
- Double cab pick-ups being reclassified as cars, not vans (in most cases)
- Revised testing of Plug-in electric vehicles (PHEVs), causing their official CO2 values to change.
Each of these changes is likely to impact BVRLA members and their customers.
