In a Fleet Takeover panel at the BVRLA’s upcoming Fleets in Charge Conference, leading fleet operators will discuss how the industry is tackling the stumbling blocks of transitioning to zero emissions. The session, chaired by Paul Hollick of the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), will feature a video setting the scene with fleet operators sharing their experiences and challenges.
The panel will include:
- Lorna McAtear, National Grid
- Stuart Murphy, Royal Mail
- Rob Simister, Centrica
- Matthew Hammond, Altrad.
This session will provide fleet operators the opportunity to share firsthand accounts of their journey towards net zero. Panellists will delve into the main barriers they face, the strategies they employ to overcome these obstacles, and the specific support they need from the government and the wider industry.
Key questions to be addressed include:
- What progress are fleets making towards their zero emission plans, and are these plans on track?
- What assistance is required, and from whom, to ensure a successful transition?
- How can the rental and leasing community contribute to this effort?
This panel promises to offer valuable insights and foster a collaborative approach to achieving net zero emissions in the fleet industry.
