HM Treasury is seeking industry's views on Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) and the BVRLA is canvassing suggestions from members on moving towards a more dynamic system.
The consultation, which closes on 3 September, is also seeking ideas on how VED can support a reduction in road transport emissions.
The BVRLA will be joined by other trade bodies at a roundtable being hosted by senior HM Treasury officials this week, where the matter will be discussed in more detail.
