The DVLA has introduced an online service for company digital tachograph cards which allows company hard holders to access card services electronically.
The new service will allow all existing company card holders to:
• renew cards
• replace cards
• add more cards
• amend card details
• report malfunctioning cards
The DVLA has advised that paper application forms will no longer be accepted. This includes, ‘Application for a digital tachograph company card(s) (D779)’ and ‘Application to renew your company digital tachograph card(s) (D787)’. If you have any of these forms in stock, please recycle them.
Applications for driver digital tachograph cards remain unaffected by these changes. If you have already received a renewal reminder form (D787) please ignore it and use the new online service.
