The first course of the BVRLA’s new dedicated training programme ‘Implementing the new Consumer Duty in your Brokerage’ has taken place and received positive feedback from delegates on how it will help brokers meet the FCA’s requirements for the new regime.
Delegate Claire Breeds of Just Drive Leasing Ltd said: “This has been a very informative course. Andy [the trainer] has clarified what we need to be doing to ensure we satisfy the FCA requirements by July. I have come away much more confident that we will be able to do this in the correct manner by the deadline given.”
The next course date available for the Implementing the new Consumer Duty in your Brokerage online course is 10 November 2022.
At the end of this course, delegates will:
- Understand their obligations under the new Consumer Duty and be confident their business can successfully achieve compliance within the prescribed implementation schedule using the BVRLA Project Planning tool.
- Be able to conduct an analysis of their target customer base, the products and services in the supply chain, and their value assessments.
