The BVRLA’s second Compliance Forum of the year, on Thursday 18 July, will take place in-person in London at DWF’s premises at 20 Fenchurch Street (The Walkie-Talkie) and will feature the 2024 Forum themes of embedding the Consumer Duty, the discretionary commissions review and ESG.
The Compliance Forum agenda will include a regulatory overview and horizon scanning session. There will be a panel session on Embedding the Duty and a deep dive on examples of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Consumer Duty related intervention or enforcement action. There will also be a session on the FCA’s discretionary commission review, asking how firms should prepare for any increase in complaints or redress scheme. There will be breakout sessions focusing on Environmental, Social and Governance to end the event.
Members can take out a subscription for the remaining two events in 2024. An SME member rate is also available. The final Compliance Forum date this year is Wednesday 6 November.
See the Compliance Forum Subscription page on the BVRLA website for more details.
