The BVRLA has published its Annual Review for 2024. It gives members a detailed overview of the association’s services, value to members and notable successes from a year of decarbonisation imbalances and consumer rights and corresponding regulations under the spotlight.
The 36-page publication – now available as a digital copy - includes a wide range of views captured in the annual Member Survey. The Review also gives a full picture of what is delivered for, and on behalf of, BVRLA members, spanning guidance and training resources, the comprehensive events and compliance programmes, as well as the association’s campaigning outputs.
BVRLA Chair, Lakshmi Moorthy’s comment says: “We are at a pivotal moment in our industry. The transition to zero-emission fleets, our fast evolving legal and regulatory landscape, and the ever-changing expectations of our customers present both opportunities and challenges.
“It is a fact that topics such as the ZEV mandate and the recent motor commissions legal developments have posed unexpected challenges to us in recent times. But if there’s one thing I know about this sector, it’s that we are adaptable, innovative, and committed to delivering excellence for our customers and for UK’s road transport needs.”
The foreword from Toby Poston, BVRLA Chief Executive, adds: “As we leave 2024 in the rear-view mirror, the changing landscape that will take us through 2025 is coming into focus. Attitudes towards decarbonisation continue to ebb and flow, motor finance and consumer regulations get ever tighter, and the pace of digital development is only accelerating. Change and churn are as constant as ever.”
