The BVRLA has published its Annual Review for 2023. It gives members a detailed overview of the association’s services and notable successes from a challenging year of supply constraints, regulatory upheaval, and a turbulent economic backdrop.
The 40-page publication – now available as an interactive digital copy and due to reach all members via post in the coming days – includes a wide range of views captured in the annual Member Survey. The Review also gives a full picture of what is delivered for, and on behalf of, BVRLA members, spanning guidance and training resources, the comprehensive events and compliance programmes, as well as the association’s campaigning outputs.
BVRLA Chair, Jon Lawes’ comment says: “The cost-of-living crisis continues, net zero targets have been softened, Consumer Duty is now part of day-to-day business. Again, your trade association has been in the vanguard of collaboration. Members have been brought together with suppliers, customers, and policy makers to navigate the ever-evolving landscape.
“As ever, our sector comes out stronger. Flexibility has always been a shared strength of BVRLA members. Demonstrated in the emergence of new mobility services, product solutions and ways of working, our adaptability sees us enter 2024 on a strong footing.”
The foreword from Gerry Keaney, BVRLA Chief Executive, adds: “While our political future is anyone’s guess, one thing we can be certain of is that members will succeed. Our Industry Outlook survey in December painted the picture of a sector that remains optimistic, confident that growth will be delivered across the board in 2024. Battle-hardened by Brexit and Covid, we remain ready to tackle anything else that comes our way.”
