Project Griffin – Industry Familiarisation Workshop

Course Description

The workshop, which has been designed by NaCTSO to equip businesses with information and guidance on how to tackle terrorist threats, will be delivered by Graham Head, a former senior Police Officer from the Metropolitan and Surrey Police Forces.

The purpose of the workshop is to raise awareness across industry and to help businesses to provide guidance to staff on what to do if they find themselves involved in a terrorist incident, or witness preparations for a suspected terrorist attack.

Several different topics will be covered including ‘examining current threat levels’, ‘identifying and responding to suspicious behaviour’, ‘suspect packages’, ‘bomb threats’, ‘firearms and weapons attacks protocols’, and ‘documentation of an event’.

The training is being delivered free of charge to BVRLA members.

A full buffet lunch and refreshments is included on the day.
