Rental operator qualification now IMI accredited

Release Date:

The BVRLA is delighted to announce that the Institute of Motor Industry (IMI) is the new accrediting body for the association’s Rental Operator Skills qualification which is designed to assess the skills of those working in vehicle rental.

The association has helped more than 3,000 people attain the qualification, developing the skills of those working in the sector and increasing industry standards.

BVRLA Director of Member Services, Nora Leggett said: “Those BVRLA rental members who accredit their staff with the Rental Operator Skills qualification are not only showing a commitment to developing their people, they are also providing their customers with the added reassurance that the they are dealing with a company offering the best standards of service.”

To celebrate the achievements of the highest attaining student taking the Rental Operator Skills qualification, the BVRLA is inviting the student achieving the highest pass mark in the national examination on the 8 November to receive an award at the association’s Annual Dinner at the London Hilton in March.
