The association’s bi-monthly newsletter BVRLA News is now being published on members’ intranets to help keep staff updated on all the latest from the association as well as the big news highlights affecting the vehicle rental and leasing industry.
Any members wanting to publish BVRLA News on their own channels should contact BVRLA Media Relations & Communications Manager, Andrea Davies.
This latest Aug/Sept issue includes a special double-page feature on the Plug-in-Pledge that commits the vehicle rental and leasing industry to increasing its purchasing of plug-in vehicles from 17,000 to 300,000 a year by 2025.
Other features include a news story on scammers using social media to offer bogus leasing deals and the headline story covers the Motor Insurance Bureau’s vote to mutualise the insurance risk relating to vehicles being used in terrorist attacks.
Regular updates from the association also appear, including a list of new members, learning and development opportunities, the next big events and findings from the association’s latest industry research and insight. This issue also introduces new members of the BVRLA team as the association continues to forge ahead with its expansion plans.
LeasePlan, Europcar, Thrifty, Enterprise, Hertz and Arnold Clark are all publishing BVRLA News on their intranets, recognising the relevance of the content and the benefits of keeping staff well-informed.
