Qualifications

The BVRLA offers a range of qualifications for people working in the vehicle leasing and rental sectors. These include the City and Guilds rental operator exam and our Certificate in Fleet Consultancy programme. Read more

Courses

BVRLA short training courses focus on key industry knowledge and skills, the fundamentals of business success. They provide up-to-date information on the key issues of renting and leasing. All sectors of our industry are covered: daily rental, contract hire and commercial vehicles. Titles include Introduction to Fleet, Selling Contract Hire, Introduction to Daily Rental, Daily Rental Branch Management and Fair Wear and Tear Standards. Read more

Seminars and forums

BVRLA seminars and forums are a quick way for you to obtain industry information with minimum fuss, but of maximum usefulness. Both provide networking opportunities. The association runs a series of seminars each year in response to member needs - topics ranging from Residual Values, Corporation Tax and the Consumer Credit Act. In 2010 the BVRLA will host a series of six forums on the subject of fleet servicing, repairs and maintenance (SMR) and residual values and remarketing (RVR). Read more

BVRLA training initiatives

Where possible the BVRLA will invite members to participate in the creation and development of training initiatives. This participation may involve sitting on expert working groups, training forums or online reviews of draft training documents. The BVRLA works both alone and in conjunction with other organisations in order to enhance the range of training available to members. Read more
