Fair Wear and Tear and Vehicle Inspection & Damage Recognition

The courses in this section will provide delegates with the essential skills and knowledge to make an informed judgment as to what constitutes either fair wear and tear for contract hire vehicles or acceptable or unacceptable damage for rental vehicles and to confidently discuss this with the customer or other staff members in any given situation.

The presentation of these one day courses is lively and interactive. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of knowledge through role play and analysing real scenarios, although detailed notes are supplied for all courses.

Previous delegates have praised BVRLA accredited trainers for their depth of knowledge and commercial understanding: all of it built around the daily rental and leasing industries.

A public programme of short courses is run for members requiring training for between one - three staff members. Participants benefit from meeting like-minded individuals from a variety of companies where open discussion can provide a fresh outlook on a commonplace subject.

For members requiring higher numbers to be trained, the BVRLA accredited trainer will provide bespoke company training which can be on site if suitable facilities exist. This is a cost effective method which tailors course content to reflect company practice and match members requirements exactly. Further details will be disclosed on application.
